Strengths-based interview

In a strengths-based interview an employer will ask you general questions about yourself and your skills and experience to find out if you are suitable for the job. The following tips will help you:

• know what skills and qualities the employer is looking for and think of examples of when you have demonstrated these
• have a clear understanding of why you want the job and be prepared to explain this
• think of at least one question to ask the employer
